Saturday 21st April 2012 - Week 7

Week 7 of my 12 weeks of STEPS has come to a close.  One Math test down, two to go, two Computer assessments done, two to go, Four Technical Writing assessments done, one to go and Four PSU assessments done and three to go.  With 5 more weeks to do it all in.  I think I need to stop for a few weeks to let my body catch up with my mind.

I am feeling a bit tired today.  I think I worked myself up so much over this last week because of the Math test that now all I can do is sleep.  It won't do me any harm to get some sleep, they say it is very therapeutic and healing.  In fact, did you know that is why you are directed to go to bed when you are sick?  That's right, it gives your body time to heal and rejuvenate.

Before I go off and take my own advice I just want to reflect a little on our most recent topic in PSU - Left Brain and Right Brain and how understanding them both can help you to remember more efficiently.  As you can see, the results of my test are over to the left of the blog.  What does this mean?  There is only one point difference in my results so how can I use this best to improve my memory or my study?  We are supposed to write about whether we are more right brain or left brain so this leaves me with a bit of thinking to do.  I am really not sure how I am going to attack this part of assessment.  Any thoughts or ideas for me?

I did look at this picture and depending on the direction you saw the person moving, that would depict whether you were right brained or left brained.  Well, while I was reading she would change direction.  Then when I would look at her again and start reading some more she would change back.  I wonder if this is normal?  Or is it a Glitch with the Picture?  Click the link in the word picture and comment letting me know what your experience is......
